Help Darfur Now: Millburn High School


Help Darfur Now - Millburn was formed by high school students from Millburn High School in Millburn and Short Hills, NJ. Founding members, include, from left to right, Front row: Cameron, Matt, David. Back row--Eric, Keith, Mike, Sam (members missing-Brad and Jordan).

They have been planning activities and on Wed, March 8 will hold the first Millburn HS afterschool club meeting for HDN. They have begun to sell HDN t-shirts. In addition, they have arranged for a speaker, Dr. Jerry Erlich, a doctor with Doctors Without Borders to come to Millburn HS on April 6 to talk about his experiences and to show a slide presentation of the camps, the patients, and drawings that the kids in Darfur made of their experiences living through this genocide.They also plan to have Congressman Payne, ranking member of the Committee on International Affairs, come and address the club.
